Haifa Israel
Haifa is a great lively city, the train is an easy way to
get to and from here. In Haifa you can find the Municipal
Theatre, and two Universities, The University of Haifa and
the Technion (-a university that specializes in accurate sciences),
there is a nice pool there, There is another great pool called
Maccabee pool.
Haifa is the only city in Israel with an underground train
running through it, this train does not go too far but is
still very nice.
There are a few nice museums here in Haifa:
The Tikotin of Japanese art - Were you can see the different
Japanese art exhibition.
Museum of art
The National Maritime Museum
Man'e Katz art Museum
Daliat-el carmel is the best place to enjoy a good
Pita with Labane - the cow or goat cheese with pure olive
oil (shemen zait). This is also a great place to pick up some
local natural olives, dates and other delights. You can also
buy a Darbuka which is a traditional arabic drum.
On the top of a big mountain, overlooking the mediterranean
sea lies the wonderful eastern side of Haifa. The "Bahaim
Gardens". These are beautiful gardens, maintained by
the Bahin religion people. It is a lovely walk to take, but
make sure to bring your camera along too.
There are great beaches in Haifa Israel and a great big Yotveta
restaurant. This restaurant makes their foods from the Kibbutz
of Yotveta's products.
(- the actual Kibbutz is down south on the way to Eilat ).
